Sandpoint, Idaho, USA, May 12, 2020 â Daher today announced the appointment of two Kodiak aircraft sales representatives for Asia:
PT Auvia Gaya Perkasa in Indonesia; and JetHQ providing coverage across the Indian subcontinent.
Based in Jakarta, PT Auvia Gaya Perkasa is a consulting company created in 1996 to focus on military aviation as an aircraft parts
supplier for the Indonesian Air Force. It expanded into aircraft maintenance and communication systems integration through
relationships with many aircraft and equipment manufacturers, as well as with maintenance, repair and overhaul partners in serving
the Indonesian Air Force, Army and Navy.
âThe Kodiak aircraft is perfectly suited for operations in Indonesia, where public and governmental missions are crucial,â
explained Paul G. Branham, the Kodiak Sales Director for Europe, Africa and Asia-Pacific. âPT Auvia Gaya Perkasa is well
positioned to sell Kodiak aircraft in the region based on this companyâs two decades of success and its strong interactions with
many government officials and branches.â
JetHQ is a worldwide aircraft broker tasked to promote the Kodiak throughout the Indian subcontinent region, including India,
Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, the Maldives and Pakistan. It recently added team members who have been involved in Indian business
aviation for 30 years, and the company has successfully worked with Indiaâs DGCA civil aviation authority to update and change
laws that will improve the development of business aviation in the country.
âFor the Indian subcontinent market, the Kodiak offers a highly capable aircraft for transportation in serving regional
communities,â added Branham. âIts performance, versatility and operational flexibility also make the Kodiak ideal for special
mission operations in service with both commercial and government customers.â

December 11, 2025, São Paulo, Brazil â Daher Aircraft today announced the certification of its Kodiak 900 by the Brazilian ANAC airworthiness authority (Agência Nacional de Aviação Civil), clearing this larger and faster version of the cornerstone Kodiak 100 for operation in a country with significant requirements for modern, highly capable multi-role airplanes.  The Kodiak 900 retains the Kodiak 100âs remarkable qualities as a âgo anywhereâ airplane, while marking a further evolution through its fuselage length extension of 1.19 m (3.9 ft) for more passenger room and cargo space, a cruise speed increase to 210 KTAS, a greater useful load, and a range extension to 1,129 nm (2,090 km).  Operating economics of the Kodiak 900 also have been improved, with a nine percent reduction in specific fuel consumption â a double-digit gain when compared to competitors. These improvements reduce the cost-per-seat-mile and direct operating costs for commercial operators.  âWith Brazilâs airworthiness certification, the Kodiak 900 now joins our Kodiak 100 to meet the countryâs full scope of transportation needs,â explained Daher Aircraft CEO Nicolas Chabbert. âThese aircraft are perfectly suited for everything from serving the agriculture, farming, construction and public safety sectors to corporate travel, regional airline modernization and utility missions such as humanitarian operations and parachute jumping.â  Chabbert noted that a growing fleet of Kodiak 100s already are operating in Brazil, along with an established customer base for Daher Aircraftâs fast and efficient TBM airplane family.  âBoth the Kodiak 900 and Kodiak 100 share the same sturdy design and excellent handling characteristics â including their short takeoff and landing capabilities â as well as resistance to stalls and spins,â said Paulo C. Olenscki, the Executive Director of Daher Aircraftâs Executive Brazilian operation. âEquipped with a robust fixed landing gear, the Kodiak 900 and Kodiak 100 are designed to operate from off-airport sites ranging from remote backcountry strips to grass and gravel runways.â  The Kodiak 900âs stretched fuselage provides a total cabin volume increase of 20 percent to 309 cubic feet (8.75 cubic meters). It features a 10-seat layout that couples Daherâs expertise in refined, luxurious interiors for its TBM aircraft family with the Kodiakâs rugged heritage, creating a cabin that is both versatile and well-appointed.  With new multi-directional Summit+ passenger seats, the Kodiak 900âs interior can be arranged in various configurations: from a double club layout to an all-forward-facing orientation. The seats are easily removable to maximize cabin space and payload capacity.  The Kodiak 900 is powered by Pratt & Whitney Canadaâs 900-shaft horsepower PT6A-140A turboprop engine, which is tailored for the utility aircraft market and optimized for highly demanding conditions. This engine delivers the best âhot and highâ performance in its class, and powers a five-blade Hartzell composite propeller with a low 1,900 rpm setting that enables operations in strictly regulated noise sensitive areas.  Garminâs G1000 NXi integrated avionics suite â standard on both the Kodiak 900 and Kodiak 100 â features high-resolution glass displays and an advanced autopilot. The GDL 60 datalink and PlaneSync⢠technology introduce a fully connected-aircraft capability, enabling rapid wireless downloads of navigation and database updates, automatic database logging for simplified flight and engine-performance tracking, and remote aircraft âwake-upâ functionality.  The Kodiak 900 was certified by the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration in 2022, and received its European Aviation Safety Agency validation in 2023.  Sustained production of the Kodiak 900 and Kodiak 100 is continuing in parallel at Daher Aircraftâs Sandpoint, Idaho industrial facility.  Since acquiring the Kodiak product line in 2019, the company has invested millions of dollars to enhance manufacturing resources as well as to evolve the aircraft familyâs avionics and systems.  Daher Aircraft established a Brazilian operation in São Paulo earlier this year to support and expand the presence of the TBM and Kodiak aircraft families in Brazil and across Latin America.
