AIRspirit is built around four things: Fly, Learn, Map and Hub. Between them they cover the path from someone who has never flown to someone selling their second aircraft.
Here is what each one does, and what it is for.
AIRspirit is built around four things: Fly, Learn, Map and Hub. Between them they cover the path from someone who has never flown to someone selling their second aircraft.
Here is what each one does, and what it is for.
Flying experiences you can actually book. Introductory flights, scenic routes, and the kind of trips people remember for years.
This is the front door. Most pilots started as a passenger in a small aircraft on a clear afternoon, and decided on the way home that they wanted to learn. Fly exists to make that afternoon easier to find.
Operators list what they offer, where, and what it costs. You choose and you go.
Learning material for pilots and for people who intend to become one, in audio and video.
We build it around where you actually are. If you have never flown, you need to understand what a licence involves, how long it really takes and what it costs before anyone shows you a checklist. If you are already training, you need the specific things that are hard: radio work, crosswind landings, airspace, weather calls. If you have flown for twenty years, you need currency and the things that changed while you were not looking.
Most of it is free. Some of it is paid, and when it is, we say so before you start.
Airfields, flight schools, maintenance providers and aviation businesses across the world, on one map.
This is the part we care most about getting right. Aviation information is scattered across club pages, forums and phone numbers that may or may not still work. The Map is our attempt to put it in one place and keep it correct.
Entries are built from information we can verify, and corrected the moment an operator tells us we have it wrong. Businesses can claim their own listing. Nobody can buy a better position on it.
The community side: what is for sale, what is happening, and what is being talked about.
Aircraft, parts and equipment listed by their owners. We are not a broker or a dealer and we take no commission. You deal with the seller directly, and we stay out of the way.
General aviation news, every day. Aircraft, engines, avionics, regulation, training, and the people behind it. Written for pilots and owners rather than for the industry.
Fly-ins, rallies and shows across Europe and beyond, with the dates and the fields, so you can plan around them.
Three rules govern all four sections, and they explain most of what we do and do not do.
Independence. AIRspirit is self-funded. Advertising is clearly marked and kept separate from anything else. Ranking is never for sale.
Verification over volume. We would rather list fewer places we can stand behind than more we cannot.
Directness. When two people need to reach each other, a buyer and a seller, a student and a school, we connect them and step back. We do not sit in the middle taking a cut.
If you want to know why we built this, that is a different page.
