Oriens Aviation marks 10 years of operationsÂ

Oriens Aviation is celebrating 10 years of operations this month. Recently settled into its expanded hangar facilities at its London Biggin Hill Airport HQ, the company is looking forward to imminently welcoming an additional PC-12 on to its Air Operatorâs Certificate, which will primarily be tasked with air ambulance missions. Later this Spring it will add the first PC-24 to its charter operation, alongside an existing Part-NCC HondaJet. Â
Oriens Aviation has diversified and grown significantly since it was first incorporated in 2015 by CEO Edwin Brenninkmeyer, with one employee.  It has evolved into a thriving Authorised Centre for Pilatus and Tecnam and since summer 2022, a Cirrus Aircraft MRO partner.Â

Originally founded as a consultancy helping start-up companies write business plans and secure funding in the very light jet (VLJ) sector, Oriens Aviation today supports a 43-strong workforce in various sales, operations and MRO disciplines.  Oriens invests in the local community through its apprenticeship scheme and has ambitious plans for its MRO expansion.Â

Oriens Aviation, based at London Biggin Hill Airport (EGKB), offers a full range of maintenance, repair and overhaul services to private aircraft owners and operators, together with aircraft sales, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, warranty work, aircraft management, AOC operations, pilot training, comprehensive aircraft ownership support and handling. It holds EASA Part 145 approval, alongside its national UK CAA 145 and FAA Repair Station approvals. Â

Oriens Aviation is the authorised Pilatus PC-12 and the PC-24 sales and service centre for the British Isles. In 2021 it was appointed as the authorised centre for Tecnamâs aircraft, including the flagship twin-engined Tecnam P-2012 series.  In 2022 Oriens added maintenance and repair expertise on the Cirrus SR family of single-engined piston aircraft, becoming an Authorised Cirrus SR2X Service Centre in the UK.

Oriens Aviation celebrates a decade of operations this month at its London Biggin Hill Airport base.
