NetJets Expands Fleet with 1,500 Cessna Citation Jets

NetJets is expanding its fleet with up to 1,500 Cessna Citation jets from Textron Aviation. This agreement includes the introduction of the new Citation Ascend and deliveries are expected to begin in 2025. NetJets has had a longstanding relationship with Textron Aviation, having taken delivery of over 850 aircraft. The Citation Ascend offers a new cockpit, improved performance, and a luxurious cabin. With seating for seven passengers, a flat floor, and a spacious baggage compartment, it combines comfort and functionality. The Ascend will provide NetJets' customers with even more versatility and flexibility for their travel needs.

UP TO 1,500 JETS TO JOIN THE NETJETS FLEET
INCLUDING THE CITATION ASCEND, THE INDUSTRY’S NEWEST JET
To ensure discerning travelers like you can depend on class-leading, safe worldwide travel, NetJets will be purchasing up to 1,500 Cessna Citation® jets from leading manufacturer and long-standing partner, Textron Aviation. This historic agreement will allow us to take delivery of up to a combined 100 Cessna Citation Ascend™, Citation Latitude®, and Citation Longitude® aircraft per year over the next 15 years. Furthermore, we will be the fleet launch customer for Textron Aviation’s newest midsize jet—the Citation Ascend. Deliveries are expected to begin in 2025.

Since the inception of a more than 40-year relationship, NetJets has taken delivery of over 850 Textron Aviation aircraft, which will soon include over 300 Citation Latitudes and Longitudes. Through the years, NetJets has owned and operated industry-leading Citations, including the Citation SII, V, Excel/XLS, Sovereign, X, Latitude and Longitude models.
