Continental Aerospace Technologies has obtained the FAA Validated Type Certificate for its CD-300 Jet-A Piston engine. This accomplishment is a significant milestone for Continental and future CD-300 owners in the US, enabled by the streamlined validation process under the FAA-EASA agreement. The CD-300 engine, which received Type Certification from the EASA in 2017, has gained recognition and powered various notable flights, including Diamond Aircraft's DA50 RG and the Earthrounding flight promoting sustainable aviation. With over 10 million flight hours, the CD series engines continue to pave the way for pilots to experience the remarkable performance and reliability of the CD-300 engine on Jet-A fuel.

This validation has been an excellent example of the streamlined validation process based on the FAA-EASA bilateral agreement, marking a significant milestone for both Continental® and future CD-300 owners in the United States.
